E200 & MMS - Please Help!!!

Can anyone tell me how to get the MMS to work on my SPV E200 properly?

Whenever I send an MMS, the recipient only receives an e-mail advising them to go to the orange website to get the picture.

Yet when I used to send MMS pictures on my old original SPV, the recipients would just receive the image.

Any help appreciated!

This normally only happens if the recipient has not got MMS enabled !!!

Hi.

I can confirm that of the two recipients I've sent MMS messages to from my E200, both have MMS enabled (they used to get the pictures when I sent them from my SPV).

I don't know where to start looking in terms of solving the problem.

Any help appreciated.

Again, I can only repeat the same answer from the other poster - it really is a NETWORK fault, not the phone.

SUGGESTION: I had the same issue with sending an MMS - even though my friend was on another contract. It turned out that it was because their new MMS-enabled contract didn't kick in until their next billing date; is this the reason?

Are you within the allowable file sizes for each network ?

Orange were unhelpful. They say my phone settings are okay. Has anyone had any problems with phone settings relating to MMS or data connections?

All files tried are under 25KB.

My friend with an SPV on Orange can send the picture no problem. (And I used to be able to when I had one.)

Frustrating, as I don't want to spend hours trying figure this out. I would've thought Orange would want to have helped more.

Ah well, if I give up on it, it's Orange that will lose money from me not sending MMS messages.
