List of devices compatible with the Orange SPV E200 (SPV3)

I thought it would be a good idea to compile a list of devices that are infrared/bluetooth compatible with the Orange SPV E200.

So far I have found that the Panasonic GD87e is incompatible with the SPV3, and the GD87e only has IrDA so that's all I could test. I can't transfer contacts or images and probably not anything else either.

I have been able to exchange data with a Sony Ericsson P800 via Bluetooth, thus it is compatible.

Please post your experiences regarding data exchange between the Orange SPV E200 and other devices using either Bluetooth and IrDA.

Successfully transfered Sim contacts via IR from my Nokia 7110e to Spv e200.

This is thread is a good idea as it seems that just because it has blurtooth/IR it does not always mean it will function correctly!

Following on from the thread in this very forum, I can confirm the HP/Compaq Ipaq 4150 and the E200 are compatible for a Bluetooth connection, with the Ipaq successfully being able to use the E200 as a GPRS modem via BT. (with Orange as the carrier)

Very good it is, too!

On the downside, reception on my Jabra BT200 is apalling compared to using the same headset on my mate's T610. BT Voice range appears to be very limited on the E200.....

I use the Nokia HDW2 bluetooth handsfree and it works with that, as well as my bluetooth hub is the Logitech DiNivo Media Desktop keyboard and mouse.

I also know it will happily exchange v-cards with a Nokia 3650 as I sorted out a friends for him.
