ActiveSync not recognizing phone

I'm using active sync 3.7.1 for my mpx200, and it has been working fine for the past few months I have had the phone. Recently, it stopped recognizing the phone, only saying "guest" was connected. I removed and then reinstalled the software, and it's still doing it, any ideas on what i can do?

remove all partnerships from activesync, reboot pc, and it should prompt you!

(the old activesync probably left some reg entries)

i don't knowif the mpx has a devicecode option?[Other options include changing the devicecode on the phone, or adding one if you don't have one.]
