MPx200 software problems

I ordered a MPx200 over 2 weeks ago from the online Orange shop. The phone never appeared. I was eventually told by customer services that they had no stock as "there was no stock while they sorted out a problem with the software".

This sort of confirms other rumours that I have seen. Perhaps the phone will have smartphone 2003 when it arrives eventually, or at the least working smartphone 2002 software. :roll:

Don't believe everything the sales arm of Orange tell you as

unfortunately they don't know what is happening half the time.

Nothing wrong with 2002 on the MPX, so it would be nice if they could actually tell you what these problems are :?

The only bugs are from 2002 in general and not phone specific.

Hey Guys

I work for Orange in retail and no updates are going to be available as soon the mpx200 will be leaving our shelves.

My MPX died on me 4 weeks after i got mine, i couldnt do a exchange as i had no insurance and was waiting for motorola to send a jiffy, when i saw the hard reset post...gave it ago and ever since phone has worked 100% no probs.

If there are any problems with software crashes or anything i just hard reset there phone for them, since i did mine i have had no problems at all.

Other than that i recommend everyone who buys a smartphone to check this site out as you guys no more than the Orange help desk!

hey pplz~!!

im reeli new at this smartphone stuff...... hope some1 can giv me some pointers with my probs......

the main prob is rite now, at the calender part of the home screen turns blank when there are no upcoming events....... usually it says 'no upcoming events'...... can any1 help??????
