Guest Deemon Posted February 17, 2004 Report Posted February 17, 2004 If you try and use it to make an image your homescreen it will use the image at the size you are viewing the image at...Ie if you are viewing it at 2x zoom it will put the image on your homescreen at 2xzoom...however it will always make the icon bar opaque...even if the homescreen has a transparent background...so it chops the top 20 pixels off your image...very odd....
Guest londonlad Posted February 17, 2004 Report Posted February 17, 2004 dnt think its a bug. its just ia's way of setting the homepage cos the other way to do it is to change it in the actual xml. Posted from my SmartPhone!
Guest shadamehr Posted February 17, 2004 Report Posted February 17, 2004 Yes but in a way, he is correct. As much as all it is doing is setting the image to be use, there is no need or reason for it to make the indicator bar at the top solid. In fact, rather than this happening becuase to make it transparent would mean more work, it is actually the other way round. If all it did was just set the image, then the indicator bar would stay transparent.
Guest Deemon Posted February 18, 2004 Report Posted February 18, 2004 exactly my point....its faking changing the homescreen and not doing a good job of it
