Install from computer to sd card

okay I got a sd card. my phone mem is less than 800 kb. not able to copy cab file to temp directory, nor am i able to install from the computer to the phone. There is a greyed out check in the ADD REMOVE PROGRAMS part of the active sync " install program to the default installation folder" sorry to be so ignorant, i have been on several forums and typed in sd card installation but no infor for me. So how do in indeed install application onto the sd card any help is appreciated. :?

I have the 4.8 mb adobe pc reader and of course it is too big for the phone ispm but I have the 256 mb sd card comminp up as storage card

You really should keep you IPSM folder as empty as possible, it helps your phone run a little smoother

There is an app made by paul that copies a .CAB file to the SD card and runs it (only for CAB files) called SmartRun - try searching for it!
