Agile Messenger never connects to MSN

Rom : Imate 1.5 rom

Agile Messenger : 1.0 or 2.0 Beta

When i run Agile Messenger and try to connect to the MSN network it continually tries to connect and never stops. I have never managed to get this program to connect using either version 1.0 or 2.0. My internet explorer works so i know its not a problem with my GPRS/WAP setup.

I dont want to use the 1.6 orange rom as i installed that before and i cant stand all the horrible orange branding and i found it slower than the imate 1.5 rom.

Thanks, anyone got any ideas why its not connecting, i havent tried it with AOL/ICQ as i dont have a account with them. I have tried to connect at different times of the day and it makes no difference. I also have 4 bars reception so thats not the problem.

ive had similar troule, tho' i think it may have been to do with them changing to their newer version? mine would'nt log me into msn but would with yahoo... but in the settings BOTH were displayed as 'subscribed'.. weird. i had to unsubscribe & try again, with no luck.
