Sms outbox/sent items?

Recommended Posts

Firstly, Hello Newbie here, Just got my Spv e200 yesterday and have already managed to create new ringtones, add windows manager etc. Looks like i will be having fun with this.

One thing however is i can't find within the menus a Outbox/ Sent items pertaining to Sms. Now i apologies if i am being think! (but if so lets blame it on the cold i have at the mo  )

Also i gather there are utilities for Sms and have seen many different reviews. What do you guys recommend as the best one?

But most importantly i want my Outbox/sent items, so any suggestions will be much appreciated.

I thank you and look forward to posting with you guys.

On the SPV: when in Inbox, choose menu (the right button), then show folders, then you can see outbox and sent messages.

And on E200, when in Inbox....

Menu, Accounts/Folders, SMS should be highlighted - don't click !, press Folders, scroll down to Sent Items

Quick question,

How do you get the phone to save messages to sent folder when you send a message, I have selected the option, but it doesn't save the text to the sent folder at all hehe

Also while im here and we're on the subject of sms, any one found a way around the T9 forgetting custom words? IE when I add a word, the phone forgets it within a few hours :D

cheers :)

Try restarting the phone

Your words are usually lost when you restart the phone :?

You could start a text to someone, write in all your swear-words, postpone the message so it gets saved in Drafts - that usually works but remember not to delete it !

Or make up a bogus Contact, put all your swear-words in the Notes section. I think you have to go into the Notes each time you start texting but at the mo' there are no better alternatives

Tried the draft message thing, the dictionary used the words for a while, but , some hours later, I go to text someone and BAM the words are gone :/ The text is still in the draft folder though :D

I don't turn my phone off unless I install something new, and I have only turned it off to install this futurama skin a few mins ago.

Seems i'll simply have to wait for orange to release an update to fix the problem

Biffy :)
