Buzzing Problems - How much will it cost orange?

Just been having a think and this problem must be costing orange a bomb. It seems like a good % of forum users are affected, which must translate into a good few 1,000 sets. Once they have sent out the replacement unit (mine was using TNT sameday) and spending the time refurbing the returned units it must be costings them £10,000's.

Are they actually refurbing the units going back? Or do you think they are just packing them up again and hoping the next person does not complain.
