using i600 as modem for express network on Mac

I have a new i600 I am using. I previously have been using an older digital samsung model to conect to the Verizon express network with my mac. Anyone doing this out there with the i600. Do I need new modem scripts or will the ones I have been using work? Is there a com port modem function on the phone that needs to be turned off or on etc.
