no name of MMS sender

when i recieve an mms, i can't see who sent it.

what could be the problem?

what is the solution? :)

anybody experienced this? btw, i use qtek rom 1.5.

ang alam ko kasi e kapag ang smart ang nagsend sayo ng mga mms wala talgang sender. ano na pala nangyari nung tinesting mo? nagappear ba yung name mo sa sender?

nung ako ang nagsend sa sarili ko and naka-save na yung number ko sa phone book, lumabas yung name ko.

hmm... siguro may glitch lang yung from globe to smart na system. di pa uli ako nakakatanggap ng mms from globe friends ko e :)

I've experienced that before. All you got to do is erase the contents of yor SIM and just leave the contacts in your phonebook. That should solve the problem the next time someone sends an mms to you. Must be a glitch in the SPV that it does'nt recognize if there is an entry in your SIM and phonebook.

pero, i keep those contacts in my sim just in case i need to transfer my sim to another phone :D

In my experience, blank sender of MMS message is dependent on Contacts management. Pls make sure that there is no duplicates of number bearing different names (or same names din) including numbers stored on your SIM (w/ SIM Icon beside it).

If ever there are duplicates (numbers) stored at the contacts --the SAP would not detect it as a valid number (default @ mobile number field).

to check duplicates of number --pls check and countercheck Mobile numbers stored via MS outlook (active sync) and correct numbers using standard format +63+mobile access code + 7 digit mobile number.

sample +63917XXXXXXX for globe, +63918XXXXXXX for SMART etc...

when number is also stored as 09XXXXXXXXX - same problem occurs.

the way i see it you can intentionally send an mms with no sender number. check out mms + eddit pic + message option + hide sender. i do it all the time when sending naugthy pics. para complete deniability.
