Looks like the old Windows CE Devices.

But much better.

I think Toshiba did something like this years ago which ran Windows95.

I remember one of my customers having one.... he loved it.

I hated fixing it.

The Libretto was the Toshiba one. They did three I think. A P75 a P100 and a P120, with 16mb (32 for the P120) and Windows 95. About the size of a video tape.

I reckon there is the potential for something like this but even smaller. I see that you'll soon be able to get 6GB(!) compact flash cards. http://www.expansys.com/product.asp?code=106820 which is more than enough space to install Windows, Office etc. Very fast and no moving parts!

6GB!

Wow...

I don't want to have to remortgage my house to get one though!

Drool =p~

It's crazy how they are managing to fit all that technology into a device that can sit in my palm!

I remember my first computer in 1988;

It was an IBM compatible

16kb of RAM

No hard drive

CGA graphics

Did not have a sound card, just machine beep stuff

Two 5 inch floppy drives

Did not even have a platform of any sort!

It was huge in size!

I want that palm top computer!!!!
