MMS on 02

Has anyone else experienced problems receiving 02-originated MMS messages on unlocked e100 or SPV?

I can send MMS no problem, but when I receive MMS the phone doesn't recognise it as an MMS, and just delivers a blank SMS instead.

Does anyone have a solution?

I have the same problem too. Someone else said in the forum that this is because the spv is not recognized as a MMS compatible phone in o2's list of MMS phones. He said he's working on it!

What is bizarre is that O2 clearly recognises the SPV for sending purposes... and the other networks don't seem to have a problem with it... Sounds like an O2 problem to me.

UPDATE ON 02'S RESPONSE

Initial response invited me to call an 0906 number (50p/min) which answered and then hung up.

Email response suggested I clean the SIM with a lint-free cloth. :shock:

Oddly enough, this hasn't fixed the problem.

More when I get it.

Has anyone had any luck with this?

I have recently got my SPV working with O2, and can send MMS, but when I receive, I just get two blank SMS from "0820" dated in the year 2040!!!

in the same boat as u guys, known about this problem for over a year, maybe someday 02 might fix it. if we all keep bombarding 02 either by phone or email we may eventually get it sorted.sounds like a petition to me and a handwritten letter might work
