Guest markhammill Posted February 20, 2004 Report Posted February 20, 2004 Is the finish beter then the original spv? My paint started flaking off after about two weeks. Is it much slower then the MPx200? A stab in the dark at a percentage would do. Thanks in advance
Guest nedge2k Posted February 20, 2004 Report Posted February 20, 2004 Great finish, very fast. Havent got mpx but its gotta be at least 50% over my old spv.
Guest Trancemaster Posted February 20, 2004 Report Posted February 20, 2004 The finish is at least 33.33333 (recurring)% better than the SPV. As far as speed is concerned, compared to the E200 the SPV is like a lame dog with one leg.
Guest meatgrinder Posted February 20, 2004 Report Posted February 20, 2004 e200 is MUCH BETTER than spv, without a doubt. when compared to mpx200, it depends what ya want, the mpx200 shows up fingerprints a LOT, and scratches are REALLY noticable, but hte e200 (as all HTC smarpthones) suffers from xtreme flaky paint syndrome. Just depends waht ya want, as for svp e200vs mpx200 on performance, they are both VERY close, the mpx200 runs gnuboy almost perfectly, but doesnt seem to like fading (u know that fade to white u get in a lotta gameboy games). the e200 on the other hand runs SLIGHTLY slower, but doesnt seem to slow at all on fading screens on gameboy games. As for other games, i prefer e200 for most, even though its only 4way, the joystick feels nicer, and for games like Trial challenge, its MUCH better than mpx200 (purely due to the orientation of the screen) Anyway (again) its really a choice that depends on waht ya use ure fone for :) i've probably just confused thigns further, to clear it up - in my opinion e200 is much better - games are better, screen is better, has an internal cam, has bluetooth and i could go on - :D Dave
Guest markhammill Posted February 20, 2004 Report Posted February 20, 2004 Thank for the quick replies everyone. I think I'll probably give the e200 a go when it arrives. Especially with the new update coming soon. The game play points are interesting. It sounds like I will be ordering a case to protect that flaking paint pretty soon though. The krusell one looks like a good option, especially as have already added a bracket for the krusell multidaapt system to my can, for my MPx and Ipaq.
