Got a secondhand orange spv today . Installed activesync latest one.

I could get into the directories with explorer but now can't . Any one know why or how to fix? it says it's connected .

Next : I don't use outlook ( what a piece of shite) but anyway If I want to fill my contacts list from the pc do I have to use outlook or is there any other way like a contacts manager .

I fired up outlook express and added 2 contacts , I then used the activesync to send the info to the phone. When I go to the contacts list on the phone there not there.

Thers over 100 messages in the sms inbox and outbox how can I delete all at once ?

Hi,

Activesync doesn't work with Outlook Express, or anything except Outlook I think. I can't tell you why you can't get into the phone with explorer, I'm sorry. To get rid of all text messages you have to use a third party app. I use IA Space Maker but there are Freeware programs as well I believe. Monolithix.org or msmobilenews are good places to go for freeware.

Also, if you've got the 1.6 update (which is well worth getting anyway,) you can delete all your messages by going to Inbox->Menu->Show Folders->Menu->Delete SMS Messages. I don't know why you can't explore either - you create a partnership and click on explore, if that doesn't do it I don't know what will.
