do the G icon have to show to send MMS?

I cant send MMS, every time I try I get a message Unable to place call, Failed to send message! Message was moved to draft folder. I understand that the G icon on the menu bar has to show up before you can send a MMS, but i dont have a G icon, why?

yes mms goes on the gprs network.

in data connections your internet connection should say 'orange gprs' or gprs

also if you have 'radio off' or 'aeroplane on' this turns off the gprs

Depending on what phone you have goto Accessories-MMS setup and check its on the right GPRS connection for MMS.
