Help! Incoming calls are audible via earpiece b4 answering!

I have a moto mpx200 flashed on t-mobile. When anyone calls in from any phone, I can actually hear the call before I accept or open the flip to start the conversation. So basically, I hear any background noise or conversation on the other end even if I don't accept the call?? I tried it with silent, normal, and meeting profiles, all of them except the headset profile experience this. When I have the headset plugged in, incoming calls work perfectly?? Has anyone experience this ANNOYING problem?? Any registry Tweaks out there not to turn on the earpiece when an incoming call comes in? I need to know if this is a hardware issue with my phone, I 've been troubleshooting for weeks now?? Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated!!!
