Hi,

I've decided to convert my video files to divx as i hear they are better than mpeg for size and quality reasons.

I have downloaded virtual dub, but I hear you need divx 5.0.2 to encode video that is compatable with pocketMVP(MPV?).

Problem is, I lost the download of 5.0.2 and now can only find 5.1.1 anywhere!

Can anyone point me in the direction of the older version??

Thanks

here is the old version.....

although i have not any problems in conversion with divx 5.1.1 and also some previus ones...you just have to set variable bit rate to 1-pass and also set you bitrate[i set it to 120-200] and dont change anything in advance phase.....

you can set higher quality by reducing sound....

also you can reduce fps if you like....

Exellent! :)

Thanks for the help :D

I have encoded a few files with 5.1.1 but the resulting vid won't play in PocketMPV, just get corrupted green screen and then pocketMPV crashes! so hopefully with 5.0.2 I might get some joy :D

Cheers

Ok,

Installed 5.0.2 and now all I get when I try to play the video is

"error in audio" :)

Loading up 5.0.3 now see what happens :D /cry lol

edit: 5.0.3 still gives me "error in audio" when i try to run the file in pocketmvp

:D :D
