Guest Left to Right Posted February 22, 2004 Report Posted February 22, 2004 I enjoy my Qtek 7070 and now have the opportunity to upgrade to either of the above. Even though there's a significant price difference, i am having great difficulty deciding which one. Can someone please explain the differences in relation to software available and customisation? It is these two things i love about my smartphone most. Thank you for your time. Posted from my SmartPhone!
Guest awarner [MVP] Posted February 22, 2004 Report Posted February 22, 2004 The devices are too different to compare as such, the xphone is a phone first and a pda second the XDA2 is a pda first. Available software for the XDA2 is far more extensive than the xphone as it can run all pocketPC applications and games. The only advantage the Xphone has is that it's far easier to handle as a phone and slip in your pocket etc.
Guest xda-rocks Posted February 22, 2004 Report Posted February 22, 2004 unless you need the slightly smaller size in your pocket - go for the XDA it has many more features and a vast range of software
Guest squall Posted February 22, 2004 Report Posted February 22, 2004 agree am afraid xda2 - i have an xda2 and spv e100, prefer the xda2, but really it needs a bluetooth head set. to big to use otherwise
Guest Left to Right Posted February 22, 2004 Report Posted February 22, 2004 Excellent. Thank you. Thats the type of advise I was after.
