Using the SPV other than orange network.

Bought myself a E200 yesterday and so far just luv it! I passed on my old SPV to my man and as he's not with orange I'd like to know what to do so he can use the internet /emails /mms thru his operator. Living on France. Can anyone help me?

Did you SIM unlock it first?

Yep. did that and that works.

Is he using a local SIM (from one of the French networks) or is he roaming on their networks with a UK sim ?

I was originally looking for cab files for automatic GPRS setup that I had remembered seeing.

Must be a bit clueless but I m still trying. The signature is back on the phone but can' get the IMEI number. When I dial the #06# I just get a non valide parameters message. What can I do?

Twenty four hours later I m still here and still can't get the phone to work. Can't even get to know my new E200 :) :D . I can't install the cab as I can't get rid of the signature......... it used to work so what's happened?

I assume you are trying to app unlock the E200 using the developers site.

After entering your details, does it state that a text message will be sent to you ?

Yes, but that didn't work. I also downloaded a program "activ register"? or something like that but that doesn't work either. I'm on holiday so I can get to know my E200! He's gone to work with the phone hope I can unlock it tonite for him.

Still devoting all my time to mt SPV's. Really happy with my new E200 but still can't unlock the old one!!! Ha I've got a pal who bought a SPV last year when I did, he has never been able to unlock it and I couldn't understand why as I have never had any problems UNTIL now...... ah have tried out all the programs but still can't unlock the orange security thing. Is it because I've unlocked the network orange? I'm still using my orange sim card while I try to unlock the security thing.

Using another simcard shouldnt be a problem as I unlocked an old style spv yesterday and unsigned it using the orange ota method with an O2 simcard! Worked a treat and 1st time 2!!! :)
