Do they replace your phone if you drop it and it breaks...? or do they only replace it if it has developed a fault on its own (i.e without being dropped or something). Or, do you not tell them you dropped it?

Orange care includes coverage for accidental damage although I believe that there is now an admin charge. If you tell them that it has a fault, when it doesn't, you may be liable for fraud when they discover this when the phone is returned to them. Claims for lost phones do (or faulty ones) do not attract an excess at present. If you lose it then it has to be reported to a Police station and a lost property number, and Police Station tel no, has to be obtained before O will send a replacement (it has to be reported in 24 hrs I believe).

warranty issues will be covered under the warranty, but you can also claim through orange care if you feel the need.
