File copy/delete problem

I've done a Search but couldn't find anything really useful, so bear with me.

Whenever I try to copy/delete anything from StorageMy Documents I always get the following error message:

"Cannot copy [FILE] access is denied"

"Make sure your mobile device has sufficient memory, that the file is not set as read only and that you have permission to copy this file type"

This is the second E200 I've had (the first went back with the "buzzing" problem, not that this one is any better) and they both have the same problem.

Can anyone help me?

I would predict that it is a system file that cannot be removed.

No, these are files in My Documents, ie images/videos. I'm trying to move them to my desktop or at the very least delete them because they're taking up too much of my phones memory.

No idea, I;m not an expert with the SPV3, only had it for 3 weeks, hopefully somebody else will reply :)

Is it because you've just viewed the files in MultiMedia Album and the phone thinks they are still active ?

You could try deleting them straight after switching the phone on or try closing everything down with Task Manager.

Just a thought :?

Are you trying to delete the files using your PC and ActiveSync, or are you using a file explorer on your phone (such as the excellent SmartExplorer)?

I suggest trying the opposite method, preferably after a reboot :)

Thanks for the tips guys, but it seems to have been sorted by running the OTA unlock. Weird I know, but there you have it.
