Sending polphonic ringtones from Smartphone to Nokia

Hi

I've got an mpx200, and have a few friends with various nokias. Out of curiosity I've been trying to send a midi to a friend as a polyphonic ringtone...

I've tried converting down to mid0 format, and sending as an MMS message, but no luck.

Does anyone have any advice?

What type of nokia are you sending too? I regulary send midi's from my mpx to my wifes 7250i via mms with no probs? Are your mms setting correct, try sending a tone to yourself to test :)

Most Series 40 Nokias (thats the none symbian ones) only play 4 channels for midi files.

This means some sound terrible, but a whole lot more, especially ones with many instruments, won't play at all on Series 40 Nokias.
