Guest martee Posted February 24, 2004 Report Posted February 24, 2004 Hi , first time poster, long time lurker :). is there such a thing as an app that can tell me how many sms, mms, minutes of voice and GPRS data downloaded, all rolled into one nice easy to use program ?.
Guest kjk Posted February 24, 2004 Report Posted February 24, 2004 yes! do search for IMETER and it's free
Guest maxh2003 Posted February 25, 2004 Report Posted February 25, 2004 Sadly - unless anyone can tell me different - IMeter doesn't work on Windows Mobile 2003 devices, only Smartphone 2002 devices :)
Guest MoRFLeZ Posted February 25, 2004 Report Posted February 25, 2004 Sadly - unless anyone can tell me different - IMeter doesn't work on Windows Mobile 2003 devices, only Smartphone 2002 devices :) I think you're right! Unfortunately! Would be awesome with an update - IMeter was a greeeeat program!
Guest mcwarre Posted February 25, 2004 Report Posted February 25, 2004 IMeter was a greeeeat program! On my Moto, IMeter is a greeeeat program!
Guest martee Posted February 25, 2004 Report Posted February 25, 2004 Yup, that would seem the case. I'm getting some strange behaviour from it. (1) It doesn't record sms,mms or voice calls (2) It does seem to trap GPRS usage, but only displays updated stats after a phone reset (3) It's all in french (even with the ENG lang pack installed), and I will only ever speak english (probably), c'est? any body any idea's if anything like this is gonna hit the e200 ?
Guest MoRFLeZ Posted February 25, 2004 Report Posted February 25, 2004 There is a commercial program called GPRS Traffic Counter which might work - but IMeter is really cool, so if you bug the guy behind it enough (in the nice way of course) - he might be willing to make an updated version! Heck he might already be working on it! Lots of people want this app... which I'm all for freeware, I would be willing to pay for a GPRS monitor program with the quality of IMeter. I think the GPRS Traffic Counter from All Locations is like 15 bucks! That's a bit tooo much me thinks - a max of 5 bucks and I'd buy IMeter!
Guest martee Posted February 25, 2004 Report Posted February 25, 2004 Yup, gotta agree, this sort of thing fills the huge gaps that the manufacturer/vendors miss as patently obvious s/w needs (like a GFX equalizer in MS SmartMedia Player ), I'd also willingly pay for this app to work, but i want an equaliser in MS Mplayer like NOW !.
Guest Disco Stu Posted February 25, 2004 Report Posted February 25, 2004 I think the GPRS Traffic Counter from All Locations is like 15 bucks! That's a bit tooo much me thinks - a max of 5 bucks and I'd buy IMeter! Are people using this one ? Any comments ?
Guest kjk Posted February 25, 2004 Report Posted February 25, 2004 i have used this one and imeter is much better all GPRS just count gprs trafic and notting else but imeter count every thing if i have to pay for one of these so i choose IMETER All GPRS is just waist of money and imeter is easy to use
