Do i actually need to app unlock my E200?

ive been trying to install some appz on my SPV E200 and while some simply say "are u sure u can trust the source?" some will not install (from .cab files on the phone) as they say "insufficent priveleges".

the progs are ones like the "startmenu speedup tweak" and "emergency number disabler" which i assume effect protected areas of the reg.

do i need to unlock my SPV OTA? and if so will it let me install these appz then?

will i lose any data from my phone if i app unlock it?

I think some cabs need special priveleges so you'll have to app unlock it to use these

Think the emergency disabler is fixed now, but I was quite drunk when reading the topic last night.

Not used it myslelf, but I understand it will app unlock all SPVs (including e200).

Alternatively there is a program you can download, but we're not allowed to provide a link to it for legal reasons. Go to Google and search for e200 app unlock (or something similar) and you should find it.
