Guest Palindrome Posted February 25, 2004 Report Posted February 25, 2004 As an owner of an original SPV I feel the time is ripe to get my hands on an E200. My contract is finished in the first week of March so no update fee. Quite frankly, I'm very excited about a new phone (and believe me, it ain't a boys toy as I use it for work - well, a little bit of a boys toy). I was in carphone warehouse this afternoon getting the lowdown on the cost of a E200 (£60 when my contract is up) when I thought, 'what about all the other Smartphones on the market'. The problem I find myself having is my inexperience with the other Smartphone. So, I would really appreciate a users view on the best Smartphone currently available as I find marketing blags not the greatest source of true info. If you love your Smartphone, please tell me why. :)

Have had original SPV and MPx200 and wanted something different. Might go back to it when they release the MPx300. Posted from my P900!
Guest Taoski Posted February 26, 2004 Report Posted February 26, 2004 If you ring Orange and treaten to leave the contract - they will "possibly" give you a good deal! What about the Treo 600? Worth a look i think.. i might go for one when my contract ends. Probably get an E200 though if its free.

Just play dumb and say 'im thinkin of going to O2 and how do you go about canceling the contract and how much it costs to port your number over' also say your not bothered about keeping your number you just have seen the good deals for new customers. They will ask you what phone you want---say you want it for free--also ask for free text messages (500 free a month for new customers) :wink:
