Not enough memory

I get the following alert when i try to save a pic on my spve200 as background.

"unable to change the home screen background not enough memory"

Does it mean not enough memory in phone - would it work ok if i stored pic on sd card?

Any ideas on how to clear some memory?

I doubt it would work if the pic was saved on the card.

How big is the picture file ?

Have a look in Task Manager to see how much memory you have available on the phone.

Have you installed software onto the phone itself rather than the storage card ?

Have you filled up the phone with ringtones etc ?

Are you using an Orange homescreen ?

i think the storage memory is quite enough for this phone,if you don't add too much wma/wav ringtongs in your phone
