Guest newquay_kev Posted February 26, 2004 Report Posted February 26, 2004 Most of us have learned to put up with it. Are you still within your first 14 days (new contract)? If so, and its really annoying you, I'd just change phones completely. If you are outside the initial 14 days I'd just wait for the ROM update which is supposed to address this issue. I would be willing to bet large sumsof moneyy that another replacement would be just the same..
Guest mcwarre Posted February 26, 2004 Report Posted February 26, 2004 Has anyone tried rejecting it under the sale of goodds act as not being fit for purpose? That would be interesting to see the response....
Guest Disco Stu Posted February 26, 2004 Report Posted February 26, 2004 Joe, can you not take it into the Orange shop in Cov ?
Guest joecov Posted February 26, 2004 Report Posted February 26, 2004 I have got it has an upgrade, I was originally on the orange virgin ovp. I have 7 days to decide if I like it, something to do with the european distance selling law. This 7 days was extended from the replacement phone so i guess they would do that again on the third replacement. It doesnt seem to happen on every call either, its just frustating when its straight out of the box and its like this. I cant believe another will be any different! I will give it another day or so to decide.......love it apart from that, much prefer it to brothers p900, which he keeps trying me to persuade to get.... Stu- not sure if I can as it was bought over the phone???
