E200 Bluetooth on goes to headset profile on 2nd ring

My E200 is left bluetooth on, configured to (Activesync) sync continuously with my laptop all day in the office which it does very well. However when I receive an incoming call the phone switches to headset profile after the second ring and the caller and I can't hear each other, its fine if I answer before second ring.

I believe the reason for this is because during initial set-up or subsequent fiddling a dialogue came up asking "This Bluetooth device supports headset profile, press ok to make this your ........"

My fault clearly, but how do I reverse this selection now? I'm using Widcom drivers on laptop running XP Pro.

you can fix this either by pairing a true headset with the phone

OR

go into settings...bluetooth...menu...bonded devices

and delete your pairing with your pc

then make a new pairing with your pc and this time say NO when it asks if you want your pc to be the headset!
