Just seen this mentioned on http://bink.nu and thought that i would share with you guys:

This is a demo of Microsoft MapPoint Location services running on a smartphone.

As the site states - with only 4 :shock: lines of code using Visual Studio .NET and a GPRS connection - a triangulated location of the mobile phone can be obtained and displayed on phone.

Makes pretty impressive reading.

You can also follow the link here which appears to display where the chap is at the moment and where he has been recently too! Geez... he's even been tracked shopping in New York!
