SVP E100 Software Unlocking doesn't work!

I have SPV E100 I wanted to software unlock it but it seems not to work for me. I tried that on both UK and France developers sites but didnt work. After I wrote all the demanded information and i clicked on "OK" i waited for longer then 1 hour and nothing seemed to happen. I did that more than 10 times without any success. Anyone can help me please?

Have you seen the other posts suggesting confusion with which OTA link is working ?

Is it possible to make the OTA hyperlink go through to the correct one ?

I clickied on that OTA link and followed the instructions but when i chose SPV E100 and clicked on the active link " Disable/enable the security model " took me to a site where one cant go any farther.. no active link or anything

I actually visited that site before and i remember there was an active link where one can click on and move to a site where one write information like name and email ect. but that link is not that anymore. Why dont you try to follow that OTA link and see what is wrong and try to tell me please what to do? I unlocked my spv before but after i upgraded the rom to the danish 1.6 the software unlokcing for some reason stopped to work

I tried all that and unfortunately still have the same problem. I dont know what is wrong :)

I think I had the same problem. and with about an hour of search, I found a site that explained the unlocking process and I worked out the problem I was having which u might also be having.

I used the orange developers site to unlock my e100, but after filling all the details and pressing the final unlock, it simply took me to a blank page and nothing happened.

What I had to do was make a gprs connection before I went throught the unlock process. Also I had to make sure my phone was on the cradle.

What I did was connected to orange home page through IE on the phone, which connected to gprs, then I went through the app unlock on the developer site, and it worked a treat.

Apparently its the fact that something prevents the phone from connecting to gprs to unlock, so manually connecting to gprs fixed my problem./

Can someone explain to me what OTA means??

Stu you mentioned the OTA site is down, so I guess I must be going to the wrong site or unlocking my phone differently.

Ive been on the orange developer site just now and unlocked my phone...

Is there more than one way to unlock the phones? and is there a right and wrong way?

I used the page where you enter all your information on the page, and it unlocks your phone over the air.

Sorry for the confusion mate.

It seems the OTA (Over The Air) site is working after all. I think the confusion came from there being more than one URL going round.

I believe this is now the right one :

I take it this was the one you went to, biffsmash ?

You've unlocked the right way then as far as I know. There is a software method somewhere but I haven't tried it and I assume it is the illegal software mentioned by Paul [MVP] above.

If No Warez.exe is an illegally leaked prog. does this mean that it does not work/will damage the phone ?

Or is it simply that this supposedly unlocks the phone permanantly whereas orange's version still allows the phone to be re-locked ?

I have two downloads. One is the above and a-another.

The latter will not work on my ROM updated E100 so was looking at the other as an option.

i think a mod is going to come along and lock this thread now but -

To answer your question the application did work - however the security certificate has now expired meaning the software will not run, hence now DOESN'T work.

Also it will not decert your phone perminantly, only the

Not too bothered about if it's permanent or not (at the momnet anyway).

I just want to be able to make better use of the phone by taking advantage of some of the great software around that currently isn't certified, be able to hopefully increase the memory capability and to have a go at learning to do a few things with xml
