Guest iliant Posted February 27, 2004 Report Posted February 27, 2004 Posted from my SmartPhone! Please guys, I need a little help with calibrating the thermometer (xbar's or thermo's). I know that the .txt file inside explains the howto but I didn't understand what kind of registry value I should create... Could someone elaborate a little more on this? Thanx in advance guys...
Guest Toyota-F1.com Posted February 28, 2004 Report Posted February 28, 2004 I never even knew it needed calibrating! I just put it in and activated it!
Guest newquay_kev Posted February 28, 2004 Report Posted February 28, 2004 I've tried this thermometer application, although I'm not convinced it actually does anything. Seems to sit on 32C all the time. Unless I've been teleported to the Caribbean and don't realise it...

Therefore, if your phone has been in your pocket for a while, the battery temperature will eventually climb to that of your own body temp (37oC). Additionally, when charging your phone or using your phone for a voice call, the temp of your battery will go up.
Guest iliant Posted February 28, 2004 Report Posted February 28, 2004 So, what about the registry key that is stated in the .txt file?

Given that my phone is usually in one of the three mentioned states above (especially on charge!!!) this app does seem a little pointless. Nice gimmick though I suppose..
