KEYPRESS: How can I use a different sound?

In my ongoing mission to completly customise my good old SPV I want to replace the standard keypress clicks with a sound of my own. I have located the registry key: HKCUControlPanelSoundsKeypress - which seems to have all the options to allow replacement of the standard click sound, but I just can't figure it. I have considered, and been advised to use Midnight's voice packs, and to replace those sounds, but this would not cover every keypress, such as the joystick.

If anyone can offer any assistance, I would be very grateful.

Cheers,

Thanks for the suggestion, but Midnight's tweak doesn't specify how to modify the KEYPRESS value so that it can be replaced with another sound. I have already modified many of the system sounds, I now want to change the standard keypress sound to a click similar to the older Ericsson phones.

Any other ideas?

as far as i know, you cant :)

but to be honest, its better with no sound for that cos it slows the phone down

I think you might be right Mr Midnight. I've tried all the tweaking I dare, to no avail. Plus, I'd probably end up getting sick of it soon enough.

Thanks to you all, I'm calling it a day for now.
