installation problems

i installed an app on my smartphone, it failed to install. now, i cant install new programs. help!

try mong pumunta sa Programs/Settings/Remove programs/

then hanapin mo yung unang nainstall mo (failed one). then try to restart you phone. tapos try mong maginstall ng mga simpleng applications like quickclose/quickreset, EarSaver, etc. then pag hindi parin gumana... pa-hardreset mo na sa Smart.

thanks. kapag nag-add/remove ako, wala syang nadedetect na program. kapag nagiinstall naman ng bago, ang lalabas sa SAP ko is installing my previous failed program. ano bang mangyayari kapag nagpa-hard reset ako sa smart?

ang mangyayari kasi kapag naghardreset ka sa smart wireless center, lahat ng mga messages, contacts, notes, calendars, and other applications na nainstall mo sa phone mo e mawawala tapos iSPAMlik din sa smart 1.7 (phone locked) yung rom ng phone mo. and that means parang good as new yung loob ng phone mo. at mawawala na yung application na nainstall mo na maaaring dahilan kung bakit nagkaproblema yung phone mo.

be sure to back-up you contacts and messages.

kung gusto mong mai-save yung messages mo. try using SPStudio (browse ka lang dito sa forum at mahahanap mo ok?) yung contacts e pwede mo ring i back-up using that application. ok? sana nakatulong ito :wink:

pwede na bang pang-backup yung smart secure, o mas maayos kung yung spstudio?

Try this One.

Go to:

/IPSM/windows/Appmgr/Install

delete the file under install Folder. Thse are the file created by your failed installation. It consume space in your IPSM depending on the size of your application installed.

Hindi ba mga files yun ng LAHAT ng mga in-install mo na apps, failed or hindi?

i havn't encountered this kind of problem. if all other solutions fail then hard reset mo na lang. just back your contacts thru activesync. youdont have to go to a smartwireless coz chanses are mas marami ka pang alam about sa SPV as compared to most of them.(sad but true)

totoo to. kasi nung last na nagpahardreset ako ng SAP ko e nagulat sila kasi merong bagong homescreen na nsa SAP ko. tinawanan ko nalang tapos tinanong ko kung bakit di nila alam sabi nya e parang ang ginawa lang daw ng smart e monopoly lang daw pero di nila pinagaralan kung ano yung mga applications na pwede sa phone.

napansin ko nga nung pumunta ako sa greenhills maraming nagbenta ng kanilang SAP. tapos napansin ko, yung mga phones nila walang kabuhay buhay. gamit parin nila yung smart homescreen... kasalanan din ng smart to. :evil:

yeah so, is the smartsecure backup enough?

and also, alam kong may folder na install dun, na-suggest na rin sakin yun. but i can't see the folder. sabi 0 items daw laman nun. di naman hidden. how do i delete it? any other smartphone explorer besides activesync?

eto nalang, kung yung mga messages and contacts lang naman ang kailangan mong i back-up, gamitin mo nalang yung spstudio. di ko matandaan kung saan kunin. search ka nalang sa thread ok? siguro mahahanap mo yun sa second or third page nitong thread.

at kung yung homescreen, .wav, at mp3 naman ang iniisip mo at mawawala, e i transfer mo muna sa SD/MMC mo then hardreset. ok?

spstudio nalang gamitin mo. 8)
