Guest ferret Posted February 28, 2004 Report Posted February 28, 2004 I really want a gig, but don't fancy having to remortgage the house just yet.
Guest colingwalker Posted February 28, 2004 Report Posted February 28, 2004 Will e200 support a 1Gb card ??????
Guest moo_ski_doo Posted February 28, 2004 Report Posted February 28, 2004 I've just bought a 256mb one and now I hear these new phones are coming out with mini-sd cards. What a waste of 50 quid! Still, I suppose at least it will still be useful in my camera long after my phone's been upgraded :)
Guest newquay_kev Posted February 28, 2004 Report Posted February 28, 2004 I've just bought a SanDisk256M card, just a slight improvement on the Orange 8M card. Seems a bit faster too.
Guest AdrianFRST Posted February 28, 2004 Report Posted February 28, 2004 256mb What's this "SPV3" all about? Something you've made up? :?
Guest newquay_kev Posted February 28, 2004 Report Posted February 28, 2004 The term SPV3 has been used quite a lot recently in this forum... SPV = SPV SPV2 = e100 SPV3 = e200
Guest t3dluke Posted February 28, 2004 Report Posted February 28, 2004 I think mini SD is a stupid idea, SD is plenty small enough (and easy enough to lose) and its an established standard. I always prefered Compact Flash but this leading standard in the PDA world is too big for phones. I really dont see the requirement for this size reduction. SD was a good choice in the first place allowing me to easily transfer docs and pictures between all my devices like PC, Digital Camera, PDA and Phone. Are they trying to make life harder!? There rant over :x

Guest pisquee Posted February 29, 2004 Report Posted February 29, 2004 Calling it Voyager makes more sense, as not all Voyager owners have theirs branded to be an E200. Are you only wanting votes for SD cards, or are you also wanting MMC cards included?
Guest daniel darky Posted February 29, 2004 Report Posted February 29, 2004 Hello All! :) This is my first post 8) I've only had my phone a few weeks and am waiting to take a trip to Manchester to get a SD card from Scan, but in the meantime I have been using the 32Mb 'Tools and Travel' card that came bundled with the phone. Just to let others with this card (who may be new to this sort of thing) know, you can remove all of the stuff that comes on the card (just copy it to PC to keep, just in case...) and have all of the space free for your own personal use!!! (DoomSPV, XRick, BoxyPocket, MIDIs, South Park episode!), you can do the same with the 8Mb card too... Before I go... Does anyone use an SD card from Scan? (www.scan.co.uk) I've read in other posts that there is a 'single-cell', 'multi-cell' issue, but can't find out if these cards are compatible and no reference is made in the SD Card Compatability List post.
