Guest roozbeh Posted February 28, 2004 Report Posted February 28, 2004 Hi there..... welll after lots of efforts i have created an application for sending picture messages......here ems sending is a lot popular as ppl dont got mms but i dont know how you feel about such an application....... also i want to add such things as sending ring tones to nokia mobiles and games........... if i want to sell it how much you think it worth? Regards roozbeh
Guest nickcornaglia Posted February 28, 2004 Report Posted February 28, 2004 Free for the love of the platform! :)
Guest roozbeh Posted February 29, 2004 Report Posted February 29, 2004 lol.......well maybe..... but i think it is a must for our phone as all of nokia's most of samsung got it and it means more than 60% of all cell phones got it so it is bad when you are showing your phone to your pal and he just notice you cannot recieve any funny picture messages he got!!!
Guest MoRFLeZ Posted February 29, 2004 Report Posted February 29, 2004 Gotta luff freeware ... otherwise shareware (with nag-screens like Binarys products) could be a way to go *G*

Guest nedge2k Posted March 4, 2004 Report Posted March 4, 2004 I got WM2003 and my mate's got SP2002. PM the file and we'll have a mess about with it.
Guest crafty Posted March 4, 2004 Report Posted March 4, 2004 I've got both 2002 and 2003 and would be happy to test them. I would love it if you could include video messages as well. Ideally interacting with the camera to record in 3gpp but would settle for just the ability to send vids saved on the phone (can use my web cam to make vid and quicktime pro to convert it to 3gpp). Cheers
Guest roozbeh Posted March 5, 2004 Report Posted March 5, 2004 well guys thanks for wanting to be a tester but crafty...is is ems/sms not mms....ems is based on sms and maximum size of it is 5 sms that most of phones can handle so videos of that kind is not possible..... well ems is something of an older technology and whem mms exist it is no more important but becouse most of phones got them and also you can have text color/alignment/font type is is still usefull....
Guest nickcornaglia Posted March 5, 2004 Report Posted March 5, 2004 Good Candidates for this app would be Verizon i600 users since Verizon does not have MMS, but instead, EMS service as their PixMessaging Service. Though the i600 does not have any EMS Client, this program would be a good candidate for the phone. Maybe advertise for beta-users in the i600 forum. Does this progra, allow you to receive EMS as well?
Guest roozbeh Posted March 8, 2004 Report Posted March 8, 2004 well yes..ofcourse it allow you to recieve ems....but currently i've got some problems in sending ems of some formats and also currently my phone is dead....:)(( but i hope i can release it soon......
Guest teddyen66 Posted March 10, 2004 Report Posted March 10, 2004 let me know if you need a tester ;-) I have ericsson, nokia, and spv phones I can test on :-) Posted from my SmartPhone!
Guest MoRFLeZ Posted March 10, 2004 Report Posted March 10, 2004 Yeah let me know as well .. have a Siemens and SPV Classic to test with!
Guest BrAGoL Posted March 11, 2004 Report Posted March 11, 2004 any update on this? i've long been watching this thread...
Guest nvkid909 Posted March 13, 2004 Report Posted March 13, 2004 :) yeah this sounds very cool, some way of converting sound files (amr) to translate at the nokia end at least! (there was me thinking amr was a universal mms sound file transfer thing, doh!)... would like me chums [nokias] to hear the numerous silly noises i can send. would be interesting to hear the sound quality if this happens, as wav-amr conversion degrades the sound slightly
