Guest Ralf_g60 Posted March 1, 2004 Report Posted March 1, 2004 I installed ActiveSync from orange cd, and it worked just fine but when I tried to start the "Smartphone Configuration Wizard", it says: "connection failed, check your connection and click back to try again" while the spv is still connected, and the activesync-icon is green. What do I do wrong?

Or prepair mail on the spv and send it with my desktop-pc at home. That's why I wanted to use the smartphone configuration wizard :)
Guest witchnut Posted March 1, 2004 Report Posted March 1, 2004 Its a while ago now but I remember there were instructions for when to have the phone in the cradle and when not during the installation procss. I know if you don't follow these exactly some problems can occur. Once you get it connected the whole process is quite robust, keep trying. Witchnut

Guest dazza12 Posted March 8, 2004 Report Posted March 8, 2004 I've managed to get it working. You need to application unlock your SPV, then run the program again. Orange are apparently aware of the problem but can't be bothered to do anything about it.
