Application Deployment

Hi experts,

I am a newbie here, I need your help on my problem.

I wrote an application for Smartphone using Smartphone 2003 SDK and C# .NET 2003. My application runs smoothly in the Emulator.

Now I have a real Smartphone with Smartphone 2002 OS. I tried to deploy my application to the phone but it says can not establish a connection.

I would like to know if an application written in Smartphone 2003 SDK can run in Smartphone 2002 phone or not ?

If yes, please help me to configure the phone so that I can deploy my application.

Sorry to disappoint you, but the Smartphone 2002 OS does not have the .NET framework required to run .NET applications (Smartphone 2003 does). If you want to program for Smartphone 2002, my understanding is that one option is to use embedded VB or embedded C++ - both can be downloaded from Microsoft for free. Just search MSDN for the download.

PS: Can we copy the framework and install it on the phone, like we do with Windows Application.

well maybe if you can copy and also put them in right places you can but none is possible[not done till now] and so answer is no.
