Problems with forums.

Sorry, not sure if this is correct area to send comments about the forum itself.

I notice that the search feature does not operate all the time, very often a search results in the error:

Could not insert search results

Also when you click the line to check your own posts it often returns the same error, I assume this also uses the search feature in phpbb?

Next, assuming a search is successful and you follow one of the returned links, how is it possible to go back to the search results?

If I use the back button I get a "Page Expired" error from my browser, IE6.

Just wanted to add that I also get this problem, which usually means I have to press F5 followed by Resending the information to the page a couple of times before it goes thru.

Fix is still elusive :? but as dearsina points out if you do have this problem refresh and it will work :lol:

I just become used to doing the following when searching....

...get no results

...click the back button

...get no results

...click the back button

....RESULTS!

It's a pain but hopefully will be fixed soon.

I use the same solution as encece works most of the time for me (and I do very strange searces sometimes)
