Guest morpheus2702 Posted March 1, 2004 Report Posted March 1, 2004 Apologies in advance if this gets a bit complex! I'm interested in how much the type of Smartphone determines how much you use MMS. To explain - I'm an E100 user that hardly uses MMS because I can't be bothered to plug in the camera. Would that change if I had an E200? At the weekend, my mates (both with new SE T610s) were sending loads of MMS - these are guys I consider not to be that bothered with phone stuff. It got me thinking - :idea: am I missing out by having a phone without an integrated camera? I know the poll has a lot of options, but I dunno how to get a representative spread of use otherwise! Judge for yourself what 'high', 'average' or 'low' MMS use is. All other feedback outside the poll is welcome :)
Guest ferret Posted March 1, 2004 Report Posted March 1, 2004 Ok, I know a picture conveys a thousand words blah blah blah ... but I prefer to spend my 25p (or whatever they cost) on talking to someone. I'm currently averaging one MMS a month, even though I have five free with the pack thinkgy.
Guest crafty Posted March 1, 2004 Report Posted March 1, 2004 I sent quite a few MMSs last month as it was a promotion that came with my E200 - 150 free MMSs in the first month. Didn't send anywhere near that but probably sent about 30 - the most i've ever done, more than i sent with the first SPV when they had the unlimited MMSs thing back in the day. I get 20 MMSs included on my Orange World Tariff so will be interesting to see how many i send. Generally i use the camera a hell of a lot more (usually just pics of my mates pratting around and jerky videos) now that i've got a built in camera.

I love having a camera in my pocket at all times but don't have many people with cameraphones to send them to..boo hoo :cry: The limitations on size are frustrating too.
Guest morpheus2702 Posted March 2, 2004 Report Posted March 2, 2004 Wow, so far I am amazed - statistically having an integrated camera as opposed to a detachable camera seems to make people use MMS less! :wink: Heh, I know that's a tenuous inference at best, but nonetheless it seems that the Smartpone user isn't enamoured with MMS yet.
