Guest doyve Posted March 1, 2004 Report Posted March 1, 2004 hi everyone, is there anyway to turn the ringing volume off on the spv whilst it's actually ringing? and if not is there anyone who could make an application that could do this? a couple of nokia phones have this feature and it's very useful when u don't want to answer a call but don't want to give the impression that you're ignoring the person that's calling by putting them straight through to the answerphone! thanks dave
Guest doyve Posted March 1, 2004 Report Posted March 1, 2004 i've figured out how to do it - u just have to press the volume button on the side of the phone. sorry to waste everyone's time!
Guest azamsaghir Posted March 1, 2004 Report Posted March 1, 2004 Yes. On my SPV E100 I just press Volume up/down once. Azam
Guest walk alone Posted March 2, 2004 Report Posted March 2, 2004 I'm very curious about it for a long time, finally I find it in this topic. Thank alots.
Guest azamsaghir Posted March 2, 2004 Report Posted March 2, 2004 By the way, how can you achieve this on a Nokia? Azam
Guest PritenC Posted March 2, 2004 Report Posted March 2, 2004 on some of the new nokia if you press end call while it is ringing it will silence the volume and divert to message box after the predetermined number of 'rings'
Guest doyve Posted March 2, 2004 Report Posted March 2, 2004 on the 5210 an option comes up on the screen when the phone's ringing. think u have to press the second button down on the right. not sure about the other models. don't think it can be done on the 3210/3310 though.
