HOW DO I INSTALL CAB FILES AND EXE FILES TO SD CARD???

guys tanong ko lnag po kung paano ang procedure to install cab files and exe files to sd card to save IPSM space...tnx a lot...

during installation process, may prompt for target location..Phone or Storage Card...choose Storage Card :)

pero i am not given a chance to choose..automatic kc cya didiretso na seting up..actually i havent hav a sd card attach yet to my SAP....am just askin pra in da future alam ko na kung paano...plz giv lyt 2 dis pzee... :wink:

minsan kasi yung setup.xml naka code na sa IPSM diretcho cya. pag ang xml may nakalagay na %CE1% as install dir, may option ka to install either sa phone or storage card. yung author nung cab ang nagseset nun. :)

ang ginagawa ko kasi kpag nagiinstall ng .cab or .exe (w/storage card on my SAP), gumawa ko ng folder na Accessories then copy ko yung .cab or .exe sa folder(accessories) using active sync of course then open my phone sa smart explorer/storagecard/accessories/... then open the .cab or .exe files.

tapos may mag-aapear na window nakalagay ay:

for cab files you can use Modaco Smartrun or SmartCAB by egaviolle. Just highlight a cab file, right click mouse then meron option to send to SPV then run or Install to SPV.

if you dont have any SD/MMC card yet in the memory slot, it is normal that the installation will not ask you for options as where to install...instead it will install automatically to the IPSM. Pag may SD card ka na, saka magpo-prompt kung sa IPSM ba or sa SD

but some files indeed will install derecho sa IPSM such as homescreens...just like what pzee said
