Guest jonwold Posted March 2, 2004 Report Posted March 2, 2004 Received the response from Verizon today in answer to my question to them about the upgrade Hello Jon, Thank you for contacting the Verizon Wireless website. As part of our Worry Free Guarantee, your concern becomes our concern the first time you contact us. We are happy to assist you with your i600 question. Samsung is currently testing Smartphone 2003 for the i600. There is currently no release date for Smartphone 2003. As such, we cannot offer an estimated time of availability. It is also Verizon Wireless' policy not to release information about products or Software that are currently in development.
Guest wayazo Posted March 2, 2004 Report Posted March 2, 2004 It's amazing, isn't it? I talked with a Verizon support tech not long ago about the same issue. His response was that Verizon had received the upgrade from Samsung and Verizon was testing the upgrade as we spoke. He suggested that I check back in a couple of weeks when it would surely be available.
Guest Whoscalling Posted March 4, 2004 Report Posted March 4, 2004 There is a Customer Service mathematical equation you should be made aware of when dealing with Customer Service related to the i600- "The number of different answers you will get relates directly to the number of different Customer Service people you talk to.....and that number is null due to the fact none of the answers are correct."
Guest mjkaraoke Posted March 4, 2004 Report Posted March 4, 2004 "The number of different answers you will get relates directly to the number of different Customer Service people you talk to.....and that number is null due to the fact none of the answers are correct." That formula is exactly correct. I've been trying to figure out how to get my AOL email on my i600 for the past 4 days. I've talked to at last 10 different techs and I've been told everything from, "All you have to do it download XYZ," to "It's a Microsoft product. We don't support it." I'm pretty sure it's impossible and I'm just going to have to switch to MSN or something. I'm glad I found you guys. Michael J
