Mio 8380 as USB Modem - OFFICIAL ANSWER from Mitac

8380 design can't support USB Modem.(only Infrared)

Please refer the manual to set the wireless.

Please download the unlock program from this web site.

So far we can't release the image to solve msn yet.

This ends my quest on trying to make it work as an USB modem only (as my TabletPC has no Infrared unfortunately).

Hope this will help people not wasting a lot of time trying to get this to work.

Does anyone know if the Mio8390 has the same design flaw???
