Guest ncolli1981 Posted March 2, 2004 Report Posted March 2, 2004 I need some software to make MP3 files smaller so that i can store more of them on my phone, I know i will lose a bit of quality but it's worth it. Anybody got any ideas ????? Cheers in advance
Guest Pigo Posted March 2, 2004 Report Posted March 2, 2004 You could try using Windows Media Encoder. You can convert both audio & video files to WMV video files can shrink a lot in size but I haven't tried converting audio files yet. so you could give it a shot. you can set the audio configurations yourself. Good luck. & let me/us know if it worked
Guest ncolli1981 Posted March 2, 2004 Report Posted March 2, 2004 cheers Pigo :) I will give it a try
Guest Dr_StrangeTrick Posted March 2, 2004 Report Posted March 2, 2004 Hi Nicolli1981 you could convert the files to 64Kbit OGG files. These are half the size of MP3 files and sound just as good. But you will need PocketMusic to be able to play them and this has mixed reactions. If you want to try anyway you need something like dBpowerAMP Music Converter to create your OGG files.
