Guest Deachon Posted March 2, 2004 Report Posted March 2, 2004 Hi! I just purchased an SPV E200 from EBAY, cost me £200 but had a free 256mb SD card chucked in. However when I boot it up it says 'Test Model Not For Sale' over the orange bootup screen, the phone works perfectly and has all the features etc, it also has no buzzing. I was just curious, does this mean anything? Or is it just a model someone has liberated from an Orange shop, one which they let customers muck around with? Many Thanks, Rob. :)

Guest lutzh Posted March 3, 2004 Report Posted March 3, 2004 hi deachon, can you send me the seller's name via pn? i've bought one too back in october and just want to see if it is the same source. also it would be fine if you can make a picture, especially of the E200 writing under the led since i've noticed later that the released modell of the e200 had another typo for E200! the "not for resell" will disappear once there is a rom upgrade, don't worry about it. cheers, lutz

Maybe you've got the rumoured E200 update on it! Ah well, if this is the only problem (no buzzing etc) then count yourself lucky!

Guest puffa_j Posted March 4, 2004 Report Posted March 4, 2004 i just reformatted my phone using the hard reset instruction, but instead of clicking on the x storage for it to reset, i clicked on the reformatted tab, which leaves my e200 dead, can somebody give me a backup of the ipsm on an sd card? im willing to buy one, pls? the procedure which backups ipsm on an sd card thru winhex pls, thanks!
