Will ATT branded MPx200 work in Israel

Hi,

I have an MPx200 (ATT wireless) I bought in the US. I'm traveling to Israel next month. To my best understanding, three things are required for my phone to work in Israel:

1. Obtain a local (Orange) sim card.

2. Remove the sim loc on my phone.

3. spectrum compatibility. Currently the phone has only the 1800/1900. Will this work in Israel (with Orange), or do I have to have 900 enabled as well. I read reports that flashing the phone still didn't make it work in the 900 band.

So my question - is there anyone who tried using US bought MPx200 phone with Orange in Israel ??

More specifically:

1. Will the 1800/1900 band work in Israel ?

2. What is the current cheapest way to sim unlock the mpx200.

3. What is the cheapest way to get prepaid (or pay-as-you-go orange sim card).

Best place for PAYG SIM cards will be ebay but sellers will normally only sell to locale specific buyers.
