MPX Games??

Most of the games dicussed in this forum are for SPV's is there a site where I can get MPX games as I have been to a few sites and they only seem to have SPV games, when I tried to put them on my phone they didnt work.

MoDaCo has a Pocket pc phone edition site, just not used much. there are a few sites listed there for games, but really we need loads more people to use phone edition and build up news, and support info like what happened with smartphone.

In response to your question smartphone games wont work on ppc phone edition, need to be ported, but any pocket pc game will work.

errr, i think he's after mpx200 games :)

i thuink the prob is that the mpx200 is probably software locked, there is a thread somewhere on modaco about mpx200 unlocking

After decerting you will be able to run all apps designed for the SPV :)

any one know i try doom but i get this fatal error message telling me that the doom1.wad file could not be found when i have it there then i tell me to reasure if the file is in the game directory???? could some one please help im doing this to play the game and also to see if my phone is sofware locked i have (at&t) usa service and im thinking that SPV stands for service provider?

inside your DoomSPV folder you must have anther folder called

DoomSPV. Inside of this second folder you must place the wad file.

For the correct format and folder layout try the authors site.

I have decerted my MPX 200 and still can't run games from monolithix.org I download them then run Winzip to unzip them then try and copy that file to the Temp files folder on my phone and run it but it still doesn't work.

Thats because you are installing then incorrectly :)

the games will be in .cab or .exe format

if they are in .cab you need to place them in

IPSMWindowsStart MenuAccessories from there you can run and install the app. exe files just need to be placed on the storage card

with a shortcut created in IPSMWindowsStart MenuGames etc
