Pub fool's opinion on phones...

I took my spv out of my pocket last night in the pub. This lad said "That's a good phone, but mine is better." I was prepared to accept this, after all the spv has its faults and is quite old now, until he pulled an Ngage out!

I conceded that his was better for playing games, after all who can argue with Tony Hawks? But i did point out that this phone can do everything else better other than bluetooth. I wasn't up for an argument though. He wasn't even prepared to concede it looked daft when used as a phone so I was clearly talking to a zealot.

What exactly does it do that's better? I can think of only three things;

Holding the N-Gage against your head makes you look silly

The Memory Card is in a stupid place

You know, I can't remember if it comes with Opera, but if it doesn't, then web browisng.

After those three things, I think the N-Gage is better. Not that I'd buy one of course. As has been said, it's for kids.

Well, if not better at least as good. I think both have plus & minus points, now I'm used to the spv i don't notice the minuses so much :)
