Guest markallinson Posted March 4, 2004 Report Posted March 4, 2004 I would like to be able to have a phone conversation in the car handsfree. I don't want to use the headset as it falls off etc. But I would like to have the earpiece on the phone really loud so I can hear it on the dash. Does that make sense? Basically handsfree/speakerphone. I know I can play music through the earpiece so surely a little bit of software would allow the incomming call be heard at the same level?
Guest James Posted March 4, 2004 Report Posted March 4, 2004 have you tried the speakerphone option? hold down the call key while in a call for a few seconds or tap the power button then select speakerphone. :) Posted from my SmartPhone!

Guest mike-oh Posted March 6, 2004 Report Posted March 6, 2004 I think what hes after is an app that answers a call straight to speaker phone, without having to press the answer button. I would also like an app along those lines! Cheers, Mike
Guest Pigo Posted March 9, 2004 Report Posted March 9, 2004 I was wondering the same thing.... when I hold down the call key it switches to loud for one second and after that the sound disapears completely. I have an MPx200.... anybody got a tip/solution?
Guest mike-oh Posted March 9, 2004 Report Posted March 9, 2004 have you tried turning the volume right up?
Guest roozbeh Posted March 9, 2004 Report Posted March 9, 2004 well so this mean an application that always do this or sometimes you want 2 do this functionality..... if not fount i think i can make one.....it might be easy
Guest Pigo Posted March 10, 2004 Report Posted March 10, 2004 Yup I have.... the problem is that I don't hear anything not heardly anything. it turns the volume op loud for one second (the way it should be I guess because I hear it clearly) but after that it's gone. and when I try the power button and try to turn on the speaker it won't accept it. it doesn't check that option. I have no idea what the problem could be.

Just tried this and it works but its pretty useless! The volume is quite low, it plays music much louder, and after the call my phone switched off! Just to clarify what I am looking for is the ability to use a speakerphone type facility so I can stick the phone in my cheapo creadle in the car and have a conversation. Surely a little bit of code would enable the speaker to be used as loud as when you play music?
Guest Pigo Posted March 11, 2004 Report Posted March 11, 2004 I can play music perfectly. and I can change the profile as much as I want.... but not that one. it does work for a second... so maybe something is resisting in the operating system. is there an official site/helpdesk that could help me? I'm in the netherlands.
